I am a long time fan of 20 Mule Team Borax.  I have used it continuously in my laundry room since my first born was in cloth diapers.  (He’s 29 years old now y’all!)  I always added a 1/2 cup 20 Mule Team Borax with a gallon of water to the diaper pail as a presoak.

20 Mule Team Borax is amazingly a 100% natural mineral from the earth. Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for consumers.  That’s it–absolutely nothing is added. Money Saving Maine-iac

I’ve always been a stick person.  NO!  Not that type of stick person.    I’ve always used a stick antiperspirant/deodorant.  In fact I’ve used the same 2 antiperspirant/deodorants since high school.  What can I say?  Once I find a product I like I ‘stick’ to it.

Purex recently afforded me the opportunity to ‘ditch the stick’ for a week and  try Dry Idea AdvancedDry Roll-On Antiperspirant/Deodorant.

I was absolutely surprised with how much I liked this roll on.  Dry Idea is a roll on so it went on wet and dried before I could put on my shirt.  What’s more, it dried clear.  I chose to have them send their unscented hypoallergenic variety and was pleasantly surprised to find I was completely protected all day.  Even in this steamy heat we’re experiencing here along the coast of Maine.

I’ve come to the conclusion that this is a product I like.  I like it just as much as my old stand by’s.

This is a happy man.  Honey Bunches of Oats is Davey Baby’s favorite cereal.  He has been known to hide a box or two to ensure the boys do no eat it all up before he has a chance to eat some too!  I got a smile out of him when I showed him what was delivered to us for a review and giveaway.

In our house, milk is a staple.  The boys drink it daily and, if they had it their way, it is all the boys would drink.  I encourage them throughout the day to have 100% juices for breakfast and water to quench their thirst but, when they sit down to the dinner table, it’s a tall glass of milk that they want and expect with their meal.

When the boys were toddlers they drank whole milk but eventually we reduced their fat intake to 2% and now the whole family drinks skim.

Over the Moon Milk has 34% more calcium and 37% more protein plus Vitamin D in the low-fat and 1% versions;  45% more and 37% more protein plus vitamin D in the chocolate version.  Since chocolate milk is viewed as a ‘treat’ in our home it puts me ‘Over the Moon’ that there it includes no high fructose corn syrup and none of the milk choices included artificial growth hormones either.  Which means their all happy to consume it and I’m all happy that I can serve it!

This week our family has enjoyed sampling Over the Moon milk on cereal and stirred in oatmeal, blended breakfast smoothies (check out the Over the Moon Recipes!), drank it straight up tall with dinner and of course we used it as a dunk for our homemade molasses cookies and we have loved the taste.  There really is a difference in flavor.
