My favorite recipe and this goes for my whole family is my version of chop suey.

Start by boiling water for whatever pasta shape you like, most use elbows, I use small or medium whole wheat shells. Next start with ground beef in a pan, season it with garlic and onion, I use garlic and onion powder. When it is browned, add two cans of Campbells tomato soup. Drain pasta when al dente mix it all together and voila. We top with italian seasoning and parmesan/romano blend. It is delicious and we usually have a side of bread and peas or broccoli.

Hmm, haven’t seen this one. I haven’t made this in a while since my husband is in charge of steak cooking now. Teriyaki Steak: 3# london broil or top round, 1 clove garlic, 1 ts. ginger, 1 tbs. sugar, 2 tbs cider vinegar, 1/2 c. soy sauce (or tamari), 1/4 c. white wine or water. Combine all and pour over meat. Marinate 4-5 hours at room temp (never killed me but maybe this isn’t “correct” anymore, I’ve had this recipe since high school). Broil as you like or grill.

Well, our family favorite is beef stroganoff. I printed the recipe off the internet years ago and I did a quick search and couldn’t locate it. But it’s a great way to use up leftover beef from a roast and soon became a family favorite! Quick, easy and delicious!

  4. Jennifer says:

My favorite beef recipe is shepards pie. It is quick and easy to make.

  5. Hannah P. says:

MMmm, I don’t know the recipe since it’s just something my husband makes, but he puts a brown sugar rub on our steak and it’s sooooo yummy!

  6. Amie Prock says:

My family loves kabobs! Stew Meat marinated all day with some pineapple chunks, onion, green pepper, and garlic cloves! So good!

  7. CJ says:

I make a good beef stroganoff with stew beef, onions, mushrooms, black pepper, salt, paprika and sour cream served over noodles or rice.

    We love cheeseburgers!

  9. monica says:

steak! give it a good sear, take it out of the pan, deglaze with some white wine, then throw in some minced garlic, cook down and add butter to thicken it up. put the steak back in, then baste continually while it finishes cooking. i experimented one night with some techniques from “chopped”, the steak came out great, and now it’s our favorite!!!

  10. We’ve done Teriayke skewers with a store bought marinade, but add extra soy, garlic, sirracha. cut steak a little frozen to get thin strips, put on skewers and marinade at least over night, we did 48 hrs. grill for only a few mins on each side on high heat for some nice charring. Delish!!

  11. Claire McTiernan says:

I take a wonderful short cut. I buy the BEST sirloin tips at The Meat House in Scarborough, Maine. The plain ones make delicious ‘steak bombs’.

First, check your freezers for the dates that Hannaford has listed as they have recalled a lot of beef today..
I like to make tacos at home with soft tortillas.. I generally have plenty of taco seasoning around because I “coupon” but when I crumble the beef and cook it I add it to diced green peppers, onions, and mushrooms for a special crunch.. and add the taco seasoning while cooking.. then I serve it with bowls of topping options, some from my garden now.. diced tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and bowls of salsa and sour cream.. Refried beans and cooked rice round up the plate.. and a huge pitcher of iced tea with lemon slices for a refreshing drink!

  13. Camiele says:

My favorite is my own Churassco Steak recipe with homemade mole sauce on top, mmmm.

  14. Jody Pierce says:

I love, love, love my mother’s beef stroganoff! I’m making a big batch tomorrow in preparation for freezer meals for my upcoming pregnancy…Unfortunately, don’t have a link online..

  15. Jess M. says:

My husband makes fantastic beef stir fry with garlic and broccoli. Yum.
